Updated taxonomic classification of the soils of the U.S. Virgin Islands, 1997

Abstract

This boletin discusses the classification of the soils of the U.S. Virgin Islands according to Soil Taxonomy, updated as of November 1997. Each of the 23 soils series identified in the islands is classified in all categories of the system: order, suborder, great group, subgroup, and family. Also provided is an alphabetical list of the series with their classifications.
